How to Add an Employee Role:

1. Go to cloud.ovvihq.com and login using your merchant username and password.

2. From the main dashboard navigate to the panel located on the left side of the site and click on the options ‘Masters’.

3. From the ‘Masters’ page, locate and click on the ‘Employee Role’ button.

4. Click on the ‘Add Employee Role’ button.

5. Go to ‘Role Code:’ then click in the text box and input the name of the role code.

Please Note: The role code had a limited character count of 15.

6. By default, the ‘Don’t Track Shifts’ option will be selected. When this is on, employees will not be prompted to report start/end drawer counts.

7. Go to the ‘Default Wage(per wage):’ then click in the text box and input the wage amount for the role.

8. Go to the ‘Default Overtime Wage(per wage)’ then click in the text box and input the overtime wage amount for the role.

9. Users have the option to make the role cash bank (personal money carried by the employee) by toggling the ‘Cash Bank’ option to ON.

10. If the role incorporates delivery, the user can toggle the ‘Enable with Delivery Tracking’ function to ON.

11. If the employee role will have employees work with the POS directly then verify the ‘Access to POS’ is toggled ON.

12. Click the ‘Save & Exit’ to go back ‘Manage Employee Roles’ Page or the ‘Save & Add New’ button to continue creating additional employee roles.

13. Once Saved, the user can edit permissions for the role by clicking the ‘Role Permissions’ button.

14. When done editing the employee role, click the ‘Back’ button to return to the ‘Manage’ Employee Roles’ page.

15. From the ‘Manage Employee Roles’ page users can quickly toggle the ‘Cash Bank’ and ‘Access to POS’ functions ON or OFF for every role.

16. To edit or delete an employee role, click on either the ‘Pencil’ or ‘Trash Can’ to action buttons.

17. Click on the ‘Back’ button to return to the ‘Masters’ Page when done creating and editing employee roles.
